Partnership Grant named as top-three finalist in SSHRC Partnership Impact Awards

The inaugural SSHRC Impact Awards were announced this week and the WLU led-Partnership Development Grant ‘Building and Reinforcing Regional Food Networks in Canada and Beyond’ was named as a top-three finalist. Principal Investigator Alison Blay-Palmer is delighted with the news and commented, ‘This recognition reflects well on the very strong collaborations developing through this SSHRC Partnership Development Grant between communities and academics. We are honoured to be recognised as having a notable impact on communities as we strive to engage with food issues at the intersection of social justice, ecological regeneration and support for local, economic activity.”
